My sister, Jessica, and, her delightful new husband, Tripp, were married in March. The wind swept ceremony was held at Kate Gleason Park on a bluff overlooking the Beaufort river. Afterward, we traveled across the river to my parents’ house for the reception. My mom said, “This is so much fun! We should have a band in the backyard every weekend.”
Sally Hendricks from Outrageous Floral Designs did all the flowers. As you can see, they are stunning. Beaufort Catering made the cake and all of the food. The cake topper came from Middleburg Folk Art Studio’s Etsy shop. Isn’t it adorable?

These are some photos from Shannon and Duffy’s January wedding. Fortunately, the weather held out for the party and everyone had a great time! There were several green aspects of the wedding. The Smokey Chef served fabulous fresh local oysters. We made sure all glass bottles were recycled. There were very few cut flowers and we brightened up the tables with some greenery. I made the mason jar hanging lights and votives by wrapping wire around a mason jars from the hardware store. It was a bit cold and rainy so we had blankets and ponchos to keep warm and dry.
